Crewel Fabrics

Crewel is a decorative form of surface embroidery using wool and a variety of different stitches to follow a design outline applied to the fabric. This eye-grabbing technique is as least a thousand years old. The Fabric Mill features fabrics with crewel work on linens, velvets, and cottons.
