What is Regal PUREformance?

Regal PUREformance utilizes C0 technology to provide a fluorine-free option for stain resistant finishing on upholstery fabric

Where is it available?

Regal PUREformance is available as a finish which can be applied at the mill level or as an after-market solution to any Regal Fabrics item

How is it applied?

The finish is applied at a finishing plant or at the mill using a full immersion technique and cured on a tenter frame

What are the performance characteristics?

The finish provides stain resistance to water-based liquids

What is the difference between Regal PUREformance and Regal Performance

Regal PUREformance utilizes C0 technology while Regal Performance utilizes C6 technology. The main difference is the removal of flourines (commonly referred to as PFAs) in the finish.

Is there a difference in performance between C0 and C6 technology?

C0 technology is great for aqueous stains. C6 technology provides better repellency against oil-based stains.

Why make the switch?

There is legislation in a number of states currently contemplating the banning of all fluorine based products. This will effect a wide range of products including fast food packaging, condiment containers, and non-stick cookware along with stain repellent finishing for furniture.
