Foam For Cushions, Seats, and Boats
Need to give your seating an upgrade? Foam inserts are the way to go. At FabricMill, we cut custom foam for all kinds of cushions—from indoor benches and sofas to patio furniture and window seats.
- Custom-cut to fit any size or shape for a perfect cushion every time.
- Choose firmness that suits your needs — soft for backs and firm for seats.
- Durable options like mildew-resistant NuFoam® for outdoor and boat cushions.
Foam Options for Your Cushions
Foam is what makes a cushion feel comfortable, supportive, or totally worn out. If yours has seen better days, we can help. At FabricMill, we carry several furniture-grade foam options like 1827, 1835, and 1850 high-density foam. All of these are great for seat cushions, backs, mattresses, and more. You tell us what you need, and we’ll cut it to your exact specifications—square, round, angled, or completely custom.
Choosing the Right Foam for Your Needs
For seats, we usually recommend a medium or firm foam so it holds up well over time. Softer foam is better for backs and pillows. For outdoor seating, we offer NuFoam®, a mildew-resistant, non-yellowing option made from densified polyester. It’s great for patios, boats, or covered porches.
Finishing Touches with Batting
To make your cushions look as good as they feel, we also offer batting (Dacron wrap). It smooths out edges and gives your cushion that nice, full finish, which is especially helpful for sharp corners or tight covers.
