Cannes is JB Martin’s 100% Cotton Pile velvet with a washed look. Constructed with a beautiful thick random slub filling, Cannes has the look and feel of a luxurious linen velvet. The cotton pile is soft to the touch with 19.1 oz. sq. yard and passes Wyzenbeek 50,000 Cycles for impressive durability. Cannes was developed for a variety of residential and contract applications: upholstery or slipcovers, pillows, "Gone With The Wind" drapes, bedding and accessories. JB Martin has been producing fine velvets since 1832, originally in Lyon, France and now for over 100 years in the USA. Cannes is woven and dyed in Leesville, SC.. After dyeing, Cannes is finished using JB Martin’s centuries old proprietary finishing techniques that gives the velvet a look and feel of superiority compared to velvets made with polyester or other synthetic fibers. The Fabric Mill only sells first quality.

The entire experience with The Fabric Mill was great

The embroidered fabric I chose for the bathroom valance and shower curtain was lovely. It helps that you can order generous sized fabric swatches for just $1 a piece to be sure the fabric is just what you want!
