Cannes is JB Martin's 100% Cotton Pile velvet with a washed look. Constructed with a beautiful thick random slub filling, Cannes has the look and feel of a luxurious linen velvet. JB Martin has been producing fine velvets since 1832, originally in Lyon, France and now for over 100 years in the USA. Cannes is woven and dyed in Leesville, SC.. After dyeing, Cannes is finished using JB Martin's centuries old proprietary finishing techniques that gives the velvet a look and feel of superiority compared to velvets made with polyester or other synthetic fibers.
